We are still planning to deliver this. Some preliminary work is underway, but we’ll wait to switch to the “Started” status until a few things are further along and we have a better sense of the timeline.

Is there an update? We have spent more than 18 months since this issue was created. In that time, A lot of people have moved to gRPC, but still Azure does not support it. This is one of the blockers for using Azure now.
