The work to start showing creation metadata for new resources and modification metadata for existing resources is currently ongoing, but work is required by each resource provider. As a result, we will be pushing resource types out steadily over the next year or so based on each team’s availability. If you have certain resource types that you wish to be prioritized, please create requests on the feedback pages for those services.

The whole situation seems crazy - why on earth would the _name_ be meaningful to the system at all? Surely all references use an _id_ (judging by the number of guids that appear in the auto-generated names it seems that must be the case.....)

Really don't understand why this is still not implemented :-( Perhaps I'm misunderstanding something but I thought resource names and group names were purely for presentation purposes with IDs being used for references. Surely it should be easy to to allow resources and resource groups to be renamed and to trivially move resources in and out of groups?
