There are some reasons many organizations migrate Exchange Server to Office 365, some of the common reasons are:

Office 365 is cost-efficient than Exchange Server as there is no need to maintain anything else. You just have to spend on Office 365 subscription.
No concern about updating Office 365 all-time. Users get the benefit of an updated version all-time.
As your data remains under the care of Microsoft, so, no need to worry about data security and data theft.
Being a cloud-based system it allows access from anywhere in the presence of connection.

If you want to migrate your data Exchnage Server to Office 365 without any difficulty user can try Shoviv Office 365 Migration Tool.
