We haven’t forgotten about this request! This is something we would like to bring in the future, but we cannot provide a timeline at this time.
Thank you for using UserVoice!
Azure App Service Team: Glad to see that this may now be a possibility. Thanks! Can you please give a little background on how this actually works?
I see the github repo. I know I can fork it and update my fork with my own branding. Then I see the azuredeploy.json file which has a reference to the repo's url. I can update my fork's json file with my repo instead. So assuming that's all correct, whats the magic that happens in Azure when I push the "Purchase" button in the Azure Portal after I click the "Deploy to Azure" button?
I can see that I select a resource group and regional data center in the Azure Portal. Does this script update all my web apps within that resource group (since I didn't select them explicitly)? Also, how and what are the app(s) changed? How can I see what was updated and how can I update or undo it in the future?
I think this would be very valuable. Branding is key for many sites/products, so being able to replace these generic pages with some of my own branded pages would be very nice.
We’ll work on this
I would really love for this to be fixed ASAP! I keep the portal open at all times to monitor and manage my ever evolving beast of an application (which is deployed in 3 regions). The problem is the Azure portal keeps crashing my browser after a couple of hours. I found that removing more "pins" on the dashboard helped... the fewer the pins, the less often the crash. I've had to remove the nice-to-have pins and kept only the need-to-have pints, which is a bummer because the other pins were quite helpful.
This isn’t available yet and we’re leaving the ask under review for now. We’ll come back to the idea when we have news.
I want this badly! I love using Web Apps which simplifies and abstracts everything away allowing me to just focus on my app. However, there are certain performance issues that come up from time to time where I NEED to get to this data. This comes up regularly for me and would be so valuable.

This would be awesome to have!
Yes, I WANT THIS NOW! Would be so helpful. It would also be nice to be able to add labels independent of the pinned tiles too (use to add more context to what is being added to the layout).
At this point our recommendation is to move resources into a new Resource Group with the new name.
