    SQL Server Management Studio 18.5 released (https://cloudblogs.microsoft.com/sqlserver/2020/04/07/sql-server-management-studio-18-5-is-now-generally-available/) and Debugger is not disponible.

    When SMSS staff will send us a minimal explanation about the decision to remove this tool and why is not possible add it in SSMS 18 ?

    Actually Visual Studio is not a option. The TSQL debbugger crashs without an message (VS closes when I debbug complex SP)

    @Microsoft Staff

    Does anyone read what is written here? The impression I have is that we are talking to the walls.
    The other ticket (https://feedback.azure.com/forums/908035-sql-server/suggestions/35881492-put-debugger-back-into-ssms-18) has been waiting for moderation for a few months.
    We appreciate your feedback.

    Why this other ticket is censored?

    We need a real alternative. Visual Studio is not one, because it crashes almost every time... VS simply closes without warning when I try debug TSQL sp.

    Please re-evaluate adding the debbuger again or fix SSDT to make it more stable.

    and the official response is:
    "Currently there are no plans to bring the debugger back. Please use Visual Studio for debugging purposes.( Dinakar Nethi)"

    Unfortunately the TSQL debugging tools are still missing in SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS) 18.3 release.

    How many years are needed to analyze this demand?
    ASP.NET WebForms was already considered as support finished in July/2019 (https://dotnet.microsoft.com/platform/support/policy/aspnet) and we still don't have an MVC version for that?

    Why not continue the work already done on this project:

    https://github.com/ilich/MvcReportViewer

    Too bad it was abandoned.
