    Hi there,

This is my 30min investigation and quick shot at trying to help... :)

Reading Errors in Event View / Windows Logs / Application
It looks like the issue is that DataDesigners.dll is calling Microsoft.VisualStudio.OLE.Interop.dll and failing.

I checked the file permissions and noticed that the Microsoft.VisualStudio.OLE.Interop.dll in the PublicAssemblies does not show the Digital Signatures tab at the top. (See attached)
I checked the DataDesigners.dll file and it was signed.

If DataDesigners.dll is referencing the Microsoft.VisualStudio.OLE.Interop.dll in either the x86 or PublicAssemblies folders it would fail because a signed dll cannot reference an unsigned dll.

Hope this helps... I know there are a lot of people waiting for this to be fixed...

    Agreed.

I believe the limitation is around the 32 cores on the compute nodes and processor affinity on the underlying sql instances.

There might be hope with MAXDOP being introduced...

Not sure if you came right but you need to use the internal domain (infiniband) host names of the control node to transfer the data over Infiniband.
Otherwise the data is transfered over a 1gb port.
