I have a related problem: a colleague of mine deleted delete the tabular database from SQL Server, let’s call it BDT_x_DEV.

Now i can’t do a full process to recreate it, a message appears when the data is being deployed (deploy configured for full process):

“Multiple commands to Restore,Synch,Attach,Create database or Alter database with name=‘BDT_x_DEV’ or ID=‘BDT_x_DEV’ that doesn’t exist on server yet are working concurrently. Current transaction is aborted.”

    Regards and TIA

    Hi,

Thanks for your suggestion, this issue has been solved for the new Tabular models in SQL 2016 when using TMSL. It will not change in compatibility level 1103 and below or multi dimensional models as the effects will too large for a change like this.

    Thanks,
    The Analysis Services Team

Pleas see Kay’s comment below. Now that AS works on PQ, this of course becomes much easier. However still some work & testing to make each connector available, so likely will evaluate which are more suited to traditional BI and prioritize accordingly

How can I use Power Query to import data to Azure Analysis Services?

I upgraded my PowerBI with the Azure Service but it is really confusing to work the same way I am used to.
