    Same issue here. We are creating a storage account a blob container. The ARM principal is automatically added as "owner" of the storage account, but this is apparently not enough to be able to write data to the blob container. Since we need to write default data to the blob container further down the pipeline, we need to add the principal to the blob contributer role

    this is ridiculous. Creating a redis cache as part of ARM deployment brings our deployement to a screeching halt. How can this still be an issue after more that 5 years?
