Same! SQL Server to Azure SQL Database migration. This tool simply isn't ready for G.A.
Thanks for the feedback, we are working on enabling ASG references across subscriptions/VNets, it’s currently on our plans
Come on guys.. Currently Applications Sec Groups are mostly useless except in limited small deployments. The minute you try to build out a large scale, cross-regional solution, they become useless..
Thanks for the valid suggestion. Your feedback is now open for the user community to upvote which allows us to effectively prioritize your request against our existing feature list and also gives us insight into the potential impact of implementing the suggested feature
Domain registration is being evaluated and remains on our long term road-map. However, it is not planned for CY 2019.
NSG's are not intelligent enough for this.. The recommended solution for this is to now deploy Azure Firewall which will support DNS rules and allow you to use the NSG for more granular communication within the subnet/NIC boundry.
I like this idea ALOT! Would we be able to interface with it via the "Cloud Shell" though? I would still want to access it via the shell.azure.com if possible.
This is a similar request to what we have for "https://feedback.azure.com/forums/598699-azure-cloud-shell/suggestions/34351408-allow-cloudshell-to-be-created-inside-a-vnet" - please go up-vote this if not so we can get this on Azure Devs radar.
Another month and another "No Update".. How long is this going to be "Under Review"? Is this on the backlog or not?
I 100% agree with this. Lightsail is a simple and cost effective VPS solution for AWS. Azure WebApps doesn't even come close to offering this at the prices of LightSail. Come on MS - you need to step up your game and remember that not all customers are "Enterprise".
This would be a nice value add. But this probably belongs more in VSCode Github then Azure Feedback as it's a plugin for that product. I'll spend some time over the next few weeks and see how difficult it would be to add this feature to the plugin.
We have raised the limit to 100 recently. We are regularly reviewing the limits and will continue to look for opportunities to raise the limits even further. If you have scenarios requiring limits higher than what is supported, please add your scenario details here (if you are comfortable with that) or raise an issue with Azure support and we will get back to you.
100 is still way too few to be useful for larger platforms. Why not just make it 1000? Is there a technical reason this isn't allowed that we are not aware of? Give us a reason for these low numbers.
This is on our long term roadmap.
Must be on the same "roadmap" as Wildcard on the listeners...
Thank you for all the votes and feedback. We have started work on this and the capability will be supported soon. If you would like to get in touch with us to discuss your scenarios, please fill this form: https://aka.ms/ApplicationGatewayCohort
Nearly 2 years later and this is only planned.. I'm not sure why you would even release AppGW without this functionality. Like many other commentators - we've ended up on nginx+modsecurity for a working solution.
