    This is happening for me too; it’s been a long time issue in the SSDT. It creates noise when doing compares, merges, and checkins where these don’t pertain to the real changes of objects.

    Unfortunately the complexity to implement dark mode into SSMS v18 is prohibitive and this item remains unplanned. Regular updates and improvements to SQL Server Management Studio are continuing, but most of the net new innovations in the graphical tooling space can be expected to be seen in Azure Data Studio.

    Why is this not fixed yet? I have to close, delete the dbmdl, and reopen visual studio so temporal tables will build correctly.

    I've encountered the same behavior. My tables have an Id column with an identity(1,1) specification and nonclustered index plus a CCI (SQL 2017)
