    I would add .. just getting the Azure CLI working in the Powershell option of an Automation account would work for me.
    My problem is the Azure Powershell support for Azure App Config ... is not granular at all. By that I mean, I have no control over individual config or features with Azure Powershell .. but I do with the Azure CLI. Clearly the Azure Powershell has not kept up to date with Azure CLI. So if I simply had access to Azure CLI in the automation Powershell runbook I'd be good.

    Without this feature, my attempts to integrate with my employer's current Azure AD. Currently I am being told that installing Azure AD DS is not an acceptable security risk and that this is the only way they would consider supporting AD access.
