I highly support this idea. Please make this happen. We are also a large enterprise and would like to be able to customize the text to make it more user friendly and familiar to our users. Executive leadership does not want users clicking on links that brings them to standard Microsoft support documents. We would like to point them back to information that we develop which will be more specific and relevant to them.

We’re really pleased to let you know that we’ve released the first authentication method APIs to public preview:

    https://docs.microsoft.com/graph/api/resources/authenticationmethods-overview

So far there are APIs for managing phone numbers and password resets. When phone numbers are set with the API, the user can use that number for MFA and SSPR (as allowed by your tenant’s policy).

The team is hard at work at building out APIs for all of the other authentication methods, and we’ll update the response here as they’re released.

Azure MFA is currently designing the experience for FIDO 2.0. This is the next iteration of the FIDO U2F standard that the link references.

Thank you for your feedback! We will take this into consideration and welcome any specific ideas or feedback you have in the meantime. Would you like to see some sort of custom password strength meter? Or maybe just text that tells the user what the on-prem password policy is? Thank you in advance!

I would like the user to see text (perhaps customizable) showing the on-prem policy so they don't have to guess.

This is a great idea. We are also looking for this change. I think this is huge end user experience improvement. If that information is there, users will have a better chance of getting their passwords changed on the first try and eliminate frustration and calls to the service desk.
