    @Steve Kerr, "Debug until" is not a complete solution to this issue since it only allows you to disable activities that come after the breakpoint. I often have a need for a "Debug after" option. For instance if I had a pipeline that did 5 steps and I want to be able to test steps 3-5 without re-running steps 1 and 2.

    All VMs for the cluster will be sourced from the pool, so having idle instances in a pool will significantly improve startup time. You will however be paying the VM cost for those idle instances so it's not always a viable solution.

    The comments there mention a workaround of including an activity that is guaranteed to fail, such as a lookup that does not return any value, or a lookup on a SQL server using RAISERROR to provide a failure message.
