    It seems that this should be built in functionality for azure. Unfortunately it still hasn't been done, and this request was created in 2015. The only things i can think of are the following. You could use a hybrid runbook worker and grab the client secrets that are going to expire in the next 30 days, and email yourself. Don't use the azure smtp servers as they are throttled to the point being unreliable. With a hybrid runbook worker you could however hit your own SMTP server that isn't throttled. One way we are looking at doing it is instead of sending an email through an smtp server at all is write the items that are about to expire to the log analytics workspace somehow and then create an azure monitor to notify you instead, as it seems azure monitor alerts are not throttled....
