I operate a self hosted web server farm that hosts more than 20 websites. I use traffic manager to automatically fail over to a secondary ISP. I started to use the DNS alias feature to allow the apex (naked) domain to use Traffic Manger and to avoid creating CNAME DNS records to the traffic manager for the WWW host. My problem is that there is a hard limit as to how many DNS A records can be aliased to a single instance of traffic manager. Aside from creating duplicate Traffic Manager instances, is there a work around to the 20 record set limitation for aliased records?

Rename by deleting is so lame... Shows the product development cares not to improve end user efficiency.
