It looks like this is a duplicate of the following request? MS can you combine the two? https://feedback.azure.com/forums/169401-azure-active-directory/suggestions/17262944-add-email-as-an-option-for-mfa

StrongAuthentication data can be read via PowerShell, but StrongAuthenticationUserDetails can’t be set via PowerShell. It is planned to expose the StrongAuthentication data via Graph, but no ETA to provide yet.
e cannot share any timelines right now. Our first iteration is to deploy and use a new service end point that would eventually be able to handle larger groups. It will likely take several months to get this deployed and tested before we can take a next step, which would be to increase the group size limit – probably to 250K members.

Hi Rob, that is great news. Can you provide any additional details or approximate ETA? The organization I work for has several groups containing ~ 250,000 members. We are looking to use it for group based licensing and access to certain SAML Enterprise Apps. Thanks!

Azure MFA is currently designing the experience for FIDO 2.0. This is the next iteration of the FIDO U2F standard that the link references.

We’ll take this in consideration as we plan new features. In the short term, we are working on Graph API‘s that will allow you to change phone numbers in the StrongAuthentication fields.
We’re continuing to investigate options for adding this support. There are technical challenges to overcome in order to make this happen. We thank you for all your valuable comments so far, and welcome any additional feedback you have on what are the most important use cases involved with these scenarios.
Just a quick update. This is still on the roadmap, but not work that has started. The comments here are useful as we start the design. Thanks
Due to various technical limitations, the first iteration of the customer-owned domains functionality will not be available for a few more months. We will provide an update as soon as we can get a more specific ETA.
