I wish there is a way to synchronize managed service accounts(MSA) from onpremise to Azure Active Directory, There are many third party applications where we are using the MSA's auth for the apps on-premise . Now we have needs to connect to Azure SQL Database and they can't connect it using the existing auth. I think currently there is no way to sync the MSA's from onpremise to Azure Active Directory using the Azure AD Connect.

You can use PowerShell to query all the SQL Database servers. Here you go.

    $SQLServers =Get-AzSqlServer | Select ServerName,ResourceGroupName
    $SQLServers.Count

Please make this a priority and have an option to set these under Azure Policy!

    Hi,

Thank you for your feedback. We understand that datamasking is an important feature and we will consider providing the feature in a future release of SQL Server. In the meantime, similar results can be achieved by using the Data Generation Plans feature of VS Team Server Database Edition, creating a SSIS package, or through the use of views and custom CLR funtions that will mask the data.

    Hi,

Has this feature been added in SQL Server 2012?

    Thanks

Hi, unfortunately this did not make it into SQL server 2012 but we are tracking this for future version of SQL Server.
