Any news to be shared on this from the Azure AD team. Should be fairly simple to implement a check box for admins to check to send blank/null to the SaaS application using Patch/Put ?

Any news on this topic ?

Need it to keep data accurate in SaaS applications. I see that there are several topics on the same issue.

I have the same issue. Cannot send a "" (empty) value using Azure AD. Seems like it by default then removes the keypair from the SCIM request.

    Needs to be fixed.

Encountered this issue today as well. Please fix this so we can use $null to clear a attribute.

    This would be valuable in different situations;
    a) When forgetting the phone at home
    b) When loosing the phone (theft or accident/destruction)
    c) In unlikely event of MFA not working inside Microsoft cloud (turn off MFA using API and get in using service account or similar)
    d) Migration between mobile providers (and have not access to phone number at the moment)

    Hi everyone,
Thanks for your interest on this feature. This capability is still in the pipeline. The initial estimate was obviously off and we are looking at a new timeline. We are aware of the benefit of having this rollover made automatic and the interest you have on the feature, and that’s how we are looking at it while prioritizing it against other capabilities requests.
    Thanks for your patience!

We are investigating what it would take to add support for multi-value attributes in Dynamic Groups to enable this and related scenarios.

We’re really pleased to let you know that we’ve released the first authentication method APIs to public preview:

    https://docs.microsoft.com/graph/api/resources/authenticationmethods-overview

So far there are APIs for managing phone numbers and password resets. When phone numbers are set with the API, the user can use that number for MFA and SSPR (as allowed by your tenant’s policy).

The team is hard at work at building out APIs for all of the other authentication methods, and we’ll update the response here as they’re released.

So basically it would be nice to have Powershell AND GraphAPI to support (automate) the process the user does from aka.ms/setupmfa.

This way we as Enterprise can add SMS based auth. on behalf of the users to have secure authentication from day 0 of user lifecycle.

Please ADD ASAP and support both Office 365 MFA and Azure MFA.

We’re currently evaluating an option that will provide the functionality offered by nested groups, but removes the complexity nested groups adds. We appreciate your patience on this ask and want to ensure we deliver a solution that benefits all of our customers. Below are use cases that we’d like for you to stack rank, with #1 being priority for you. We thank you for the continued comments and feedback.

Use case A: nested group in a cloud security group inherits apps assignment
Use case B: nested group in a cloud security group inherits license assignment
Use case C: nesting groups under Office 365 groups
