    The Wordpress template has a dependency in Azure database for MySQL and App Service on Linux, neither of which are available in Azure Government yet.
    For development and testing purposes, you can use this template which uses MySQL In-App and App Service on Windows:
    https://github.com/Azure/azure-quickstart-templates/tree/master/wordpress-app-service-mysql-inapp

    Alternatively, for production purposes, you can still use App Service on Windows and an IaaS-based MySQL backend instead.

    Feature request moved over to the Azure Government forum for continued research into support.

    Azure Gov does not have Wordpress template in its marketplace since Azure database for MySQL is not yet supported here. Also not App Service on Linux/ Web app for containers is not yet supported on Azure Gov.

    You can although , manually create a web app , for MySQL use MySQL in-app for small sites or setup MySQL server on Azure virtual machine . Note that the web app are running on Windows .

    The request for R support is still in review. We're actively tracking demand across community and customer forums to find the right place for R on the prioritized list of languages (amongst Python, PowerShell, Go and TypeScript).

    Support for Go is on our backlog. Unfortunately, there isn't an ETA to share at this point but we'll keep the thread updated with the latest. Thanks for your patience!

    Update: Still planned!
    -
    This is something that we have enabled internally, and are in the planning process of highlighting TCP connections for customers in the “Diagnose and Solve problems” tab. However, we do not have an ETA yet.

    Thanks for the feedback!

    Is the core intention here to support the www.*.<custom domain>? That is different from asking for *.*.<custom domain>.

    Hi there,

    Just an update that we are still looking at how it is best to enable the feature. We definitely see the value in adding the option and we will update when we have more to share.

    Thanks,

    We’ve started deploying the feature to a small set of stamps. We’ll continue to monitor the stamps for performance and validate if the feature is working as expected. Once we are confident there are no issues, we will roll out to all regions.

    Thanks,
    Oded

    Thanks for your patience. We still don't have a timeline to share as supporting this is dependent on a few other items we need to complete first. We will update here once there is more information to share.

    Thanks,

    Is this a request for a custom binding for Azure Search? We're working on making bindings extensible, so customers that customers can create their own implementation.

    @Trevor: This has actually been possible for quite sometime.

    The sample is just a sample, the key is the sections of the Web.config which handles the Custom Errors pages:

    <httpErrors errorMode="Custom" allowAbsolutePathsWhenDelegated="true">
    <remove statusCode="403" />
    <error statusCode="403"
    path="%HOME%\site\wwwroot\errors\403.htm" />
    </httpErrors>

    You need to add this section in the web.config for your application. If you don't have a web.config, you will need to create (or copy) one in order to configure this for your application.

    The "Deploy to Azure" button is simply a way to deploy the sample, such that you can see the results of the web.config settings that are applied as part of the application. This is not applying anything to existing resources.

    We have created a sample which shows how to customize the httpErrors pages. The code is available here: https://github.com/SyntaxC4-MSFT/AppService-CustomErrorPages

    The example covers 403, but it could be duplicated for other error pages. One thing to note, is that we are still confirming if the Authorization/Authentication module will respect these pages. We will update the sample if there are any additional items that we need to cover to enable that scenario.

    Hi Ankit, we'd love to get some more details on the current difficulties you are experiencing with push telemetry and what the ideal feature set would look like. Thanks!
