We have started work to remove this restriction.
Current ETA is for second half of 2020

Could not deploy a WordPress Linux App into the current resource group and also could not deploy the new MySQL database server on that existing resource group with the same error: "code\":\"LinuxWorkersNotAllowedInResourceGroup\",\"message\":\"Linux workers are not available in resource group. It would be great if the Azure file share has the same life cycle management feature as Azure blob storage.

After the rule has been created, we don't know what date/time of that rule will be run and which blobs/containers will be affected then,...in case we'd like to update the rule, we're not sure how it's affected after that. So I think that Azure lifecycle management on Azure portal should have more detail info about the rule, it makes the rule more predictable and better control.

Should have a plan with ETA to support the Global vNet Peering with Regional vNet Integration, instead of requesting the customer to redeploy their web apps in production or using the Gateway Based vNet on App Services (with some costs will be such as VPN gateway, Data transfer, App Service plan pricing tier charges: Standard, Premium, or PremiumV2 ASP.)

Thank you for your feedback. Providing container capacity metrics is on our backlog but there is no ETA we can share at this time. We will provide updates when they become available. For any further questions, or to discuss your specific scenario, send us an email at azurestoragefeedback@microsoft.com.

Domain registration is being evaluated and remains on our long term road-map. However, it is not planned for CY 2019.

I've just spent more 3 votes for this kind of basic feature, which supported by other cloud providers years ago. :(

I found this article https://charbelnemnom.com/2019/06/how-to-deploy-sftp-service-on-microsoft-azure/, not yet set it up, but maybe Azure Firewall is needed :( for security concern. When will Azure Storage support this "really expected SFTP feature"?

I'm getting crazy with Azure about this feature which is so basic I think.

Even it is running with the new Azure powershell like this: ((Get-Azvm -resourcegroupname "TestingResources" -Name "AutoTestServer").StorageProfile).OSDisk
It's still no free space percentage.

I confirm that I'm able to move the current linux apps & their own app service plans to an existing resource group, which is hosting other Windows apps (app service plans). Great!
