    Hello,

Can you elaborate on how route symmetry is archived by the ALB when a single interface is used?

    Regards,

With the introduction of the HA ports in load balancers it would be great to have a priority option in the load balancers in order to be able to use NVA's in active-passive for scenarios where doing NAT to ensure route symmetry is not an option.

This will send all the traffic always to the same NVA and if it goes down it will start sending all the traffic to the second one.

Today this is archived with external tools to monitor the state of the NVAs and with UDRs (zookeper for example).

Distribution by priority is something really usual in load balancers and even azure traffic manager has the option. It would be great to have the option in the load balancers.
