For a demo of minimum downtime in Azure Database Migration Service (DMS), please refer to the video demo by Corey Sanders here - https://blogs.msdn.microsoft.com/datamigration/2018/05/18/how-to-seamlessly-migrate-mysql-and-postgresql-apps-to-azure-database-for-mysql-and-postgresql-with-minimum-downtime/
For migrating workload from on-prem to Azure, Microsoft is recommending using Azure Database Migration Service (DMS) which uses PostgreSQL logical replication to achieve minimum downtime.
Feel free to email me at email@example.com and we can chat more about your use case.
Hi Takashi, could the problem be encoding on the target (Azure Database for PostgreSQL) side? This is by design in Attunity to convert nvarchar to WSTRING (Attunity specific) then from WSTRING to Varchar in Postgres. Varchar is able to store double-byte characters.
You can also post the question to Attunity forum in http://forums.attunity.com/forums/forum.php and see if the Attunity community can help you. You will need to register to post your question.
