Why should they support that syntax anyway?

Why is this specific to `CREATE TABLE` why not just support `INTERVAL` types and literals? `SELECT GET_DATE() + INTERVAL '5' YEARS;`

    Dear Mr. Kunen,

You submitted this Suggestion through the official Microsoft Connect System. Upon receipt it was collated by our gerbil-powered Analytical Engine before being printed to our state of the art IBM 1403 line printer. This output was then routed by our team of trained lemurs, who hand (or foot) carried it to my desk, where they delicately slipped it under the other items in my In pile, thus maintaining the piles rigorous FIFO ordering.

After methodically working my way through the preceding items in my queue, I reached your suggestion. I verified the watermarkthus ensuring that it was truly an official Connect Suggestionand then set about thoroughly reviewing it. My investigations, both technical and extispicious, revealed that it was indeed a Good Suggestion, and so I indicated such, provided my endorsement, and placed it in my Out pile.

    By the time you…

Microsoft closed 20 bugs many of which were 15 years old and poignantly addressing different problems and rather than tracking these in the new system they just did away with 15 years of descriptions and documentation. How do you expect people to find this when searching for the error message returns nothing?

Incoming, 15 new bugs with discrete errors.

    > Cleanup Error Messages

You may as well just file one slightly more vague bug: "Create perfect product."
