We do have this set up for Kubernetes deployments, but there is not yet anything for standard Docker. This is a valid request, but we don’t have a timeline attached to it.

Can you please elaborate more on what you would like to see in Azure API Management? If I understand correctly you’d like to be able to import your APIs written in Node.js into API Management with a easy solution?Venkatesh Srinivasan commented
I would like to see two things
1) Make node work hand in hand with Azure policies. That is we should be able to write custom policies such that before hitting the back end SOAP service, the code will pass through the node (express.js hosted web server). In this pass through I will then be able to re-write the request or Cache the request in Mango DB or put in send grid
2) Host node as part of Azure API solution and treat the node as my back end. I should not have a need where I will have to spin another VM to make this work. This is very close to what Miao Jiang has said.Venkatesh Srinivasan shared this idea ·
