        Hello Marcel. Weve looked into this item. While it will not be addressed in the current release cycle, we have added it to a list for consideration for the next. Thank you for the feedback. We will keep track of the suggestion. -Walter A Jokiel, Program Manager, SQL Server (wajokiel@microsoft.com)

        Is there a workaround available? How can I start a task deployed to a server from another SSIS task?

        <=-=Aug 1 2013 10:11PM=-=>

        Now that the DTS functionality is back for passing parameters to child packages, it allows for easy building of SSIS frameworks with reusable child packages. But with the all or none deployment model, it is challenging to manage large projects with multiple developers, especially since the slightest change to any package in the project updates the project file. Because of this, it’s easier to break…

          I would agree. Utilizing SQL Server authentication is not an appropriate work around either.

          I have a stored procedure that accepts parameters used in the new 2012 SSIS T-SQL statements. When I execute the stored procedure from the server containing SQL Server 2012 where the SSISDB is, the SSIS package runs with no problem. When I run the procedure via SSMS on my workstation, the SSIS package fails – Access denied to a UNC location. If I use a location local to the server where SSISDB is running, the procedure works.
          I finally set the stored procedure to EXECUTE AS OWNER and the procedure fails when I run it from my workstation or from the Server containing SSISDB. The error returned is: The operation cannot be started by an account that uses SQL Server Authentication. Start the operation…

                    Thank you for providing this feedback. We will consider adding this functionality in a future release of SQL Server. If there are other rich formatting requirement that you have, please do add details to this item for those additional features also.

                    When is this justify text going to be out? You commented on 1/27/2009 and it’s nearly a year since this has been resolved. How come the Silverlight team and accommodate the top requests within a few month but SQL team cannot do the same?

                    In many cases a reporting tool is the best option to provide formatted data to clients, shareholders, and other individuals where the appearance of the report is as important as the accuracy of the data. It has to look good, not just be correct.

                    This is a serious deficiency, and while …

                        I am currently slated to release a reporting system for a financial industry client that utilizes all Microsoft technology: SQL Server 2008, SQL Server Integration Services, SQL Server Reporting Services. The final proof was rejected by upper management due to the inability to fully justify text. It’s hard to explain to them that this is not available, when it’s considered a technology that Microsoft has been providing (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc…) for decades. In the financial industry, fully justified text is considered industry standard and I understand their position.

                        Currently the only solution I can offer them is to abandon Reporting Services and switch to Crystal Reports.

                        <=-=Jun 18 2009 12:08AM=-=>

                        I also need even justification of text on both left and right edges of paragraphs.

                        My client needs this for financial publishing of their mutual fund marketing documents, whch are about 50% statistics…

                            Also would be nice to control calculation on the dates (for ex, if you need Day-1, Month-1, etc).
