The feature set includes support for default documents and custom error documents for HTTP status code 404.

Forcing HTTPS on the Standard CDN would make this totally usable. Especially since Chrome 58 flags non HTTPS websites

We are excited to announce the next generation AzCopy, v10, which now supports /MIR functionality through the ‘sync’ command. AzCopy v10 is available for Windows, Linux and MacOS and is now in Public Preview. See https://github.com/azure/azure-storage-azcopy for more information
We are looking at this but it is not on our immediate roadmap. Will update here if this changes.
