Big thanks to @Stefan – you can filter for specific time period using the new query language of log analytics; which in-turn can be used in OMS Alerts to skip over specific times.
Regarding the ask for making global maintenance windows in Azure – we are working on the same and we’ll intimate you soon when we are ready with the functionality. Thanks again for your idea and feedback for Azure.
Could Admin tell more about the "global maintenance window"? Where can we find mre information?

Any update on this from Microsoft?
This would be awesome, we would like to be able to create alerts filtered on the tags hence this would help us a lot.
Still under review. This is something we’ll probably add in the next release.
Can we please have an update from Microsoft on this?
This is in the backlog. Vote it up to let us know how important it is to you.

The platform currently relies on the uniqueness of workspaces names. The effort required to support workspace rename can’t fit in current semester due to higher priority items unfortunately, but we will consider it for the next semester.
We continue to investigate this. Due to the current roadmap and strategy this will remain in our backlog. Please continue to share feedback related to this topic to help us make an informed decision at a later time.
We’ll improve the data table view and enable the same ability to drill down. You can still get to the old cost by resource experience by clicking the “Cost by resource” command at the top of the blade for now.
Please let us know if there are any specifics you’d like to see.Daniel Björk shared this idea ·
We are evaluating what we can do to address this feedback and would very much appreciate your continued votes and suggestions on it.
One alternative to mounting the share on-premises over port 445 is Azure File Sync, which enables you to create a cache of an Azure file share on an on-premises Windows Server. Azure File Sync only sends data over the Azure Files HTTPS (using the File REST APIs). You can learn more about Azure File Sync here: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/storage/files/storage-sync-files-planning
Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any additional questions!
