    Thanks for the update. I’m assuming you are talking specifically about URL access in such a way that works for 3rd party libraries such as OLAP4J and also general URL access without limitations around auth and resolving cluster IP addresses, etc.. We will look into it …

    OLAP4J would be fine or any other type of access for Java that doesn't require setting up the HTTP data pump via IIS to Azure AS.

    We've done a POC with Azure AS. We can create the database, cube process, and manually execute queries via SSMS. We just cannot integrate our Java application to Azure AS at this time. It's a major showstopper.

    Definitely querying. We also create the Analysis Services database via XMLA, but we can initially live with just querying.
