The shared provisioned database feature is a fantastic way to shared throughput amongst multiple containers.

However, sometimes a particular container might have much higher demand than other contains (say, one customer tenant), and you would like to provision its own dedicated throughput.

This can happen after the container has been in use for some time. To avoid the need to create a whole new container and copy the data across, it would be best if a container could have its RU switched between provisioned and shared when it is currently under a provisioned database.

The suggestion name for this is extremely poor. but, there needs to be a way to do this without having to tear down the load balancer and rebuild it with new rules.

I have it on good authority that this item only adds PaaS cloud services to visual studio templates and does not add ARM compatability for those hanging out for that feature. I have also been informed there is no plans to change that.

This implies an Cloud Services availability in ARM period, including being able to select "Resource Manager" stack during creation of a cloud service from the new Portal. Also, this is the only thing preventing us from moving everything over to ARM.
