    This is not a limitation of your competition and has actually caused customers to choose a different cloud platform due to this limitation.

    Thank you for voting on this suggestion. It is now completed and can be done via custom Azure Policy. Here is a sample custom policy to apply a specific tag at the RG and have them inherited by the Resources in that RG: https://github.com/Azure/azure-policy/tree/master/samples/ResourceGroup/copy-resourcegroup-tag

    Tag inheritance for existing resources is something that we plan to add support for in 2019.

    Good news, in Azure Resource Manager deployments you get three fault domains by default now. Any chance this will be back ported to Azure Classic while the kinks are work out of ARM?

    Failover Clusters are officially supported as of April 1, 2015, albeit it must use a 3rd party volume replication solutions published in the Azure Marketplace, like SIOS DataKeeper. https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/2721672
