Hi, Markus. Can you share a screenshot of the umlaut bug? I just tried it and it seems to work. I just want to make sure I'm seeing the same thing. Is your name displayed correctly on https://account.live.com?

Sorry to hear you're having issues. Just to double-check, do you have a subscription? That's the only case in which the command shouldn't be available. Browse to Subscriptions to check and make sure you're signed in to the correct directory (see the menu above the Startboard, which shows the current directory, if you have multiple). Let us know if you do have a subscription and still can't access the command. That would definitely be a bug we'll want to fix quickly!

Is the main reason you might want to cancel and restart the creation the fact that you can’t tell if the creation is finished or hanged? If so, would it help if there’s a progress indicator of some soft so you can tell where the creation is in the whole process?Thanks,

The cancel option is on our radar, but unfortunately not at the top of the priority stack at the moment.
Could you please share a screenshot of the behavior you are seeing with the error while the operation keeps running? How long does this keep going? and eventually did it stop?

Are you looking for a map of all resources or only those related to App Insights?
Hi, Brian. You have to enable MFA for your directory. Once you do that, you'll be prompted for your second factor when you sign in. This is all configured at the directory level.
Have you tried walking thru the MFA setup doc?
