We have reviewed this request.
While we are API compatible with Table storage we do not precisely match every behavior. Sorting is one of those. We do not have any current plans to support this but will put on our backlog.
For a complete listing of where our implementation diverges from Table storage please see this article below.
Thank you.

We are very excited to announce the Public Preview of Azure Resource Mover https://aka.ms/resource-mover-preview
Azure Resource Mover is a new free service that greatly reduces customer time and effort needed to move resources across regions by providing a built-in dependency analysis, planning, and testing that ensures the resources are prepared to move and then successfully moved to the desired region.
Currently, using this capability, customers can easily move their
Virtual machines with managed disks,
Networking components (NIC, VNET, NSG, Load Balancer, Public IP)
and SQL Azure resources (Database and Elastic pool)from one Azure region to another. The service is available through the Azure portal, PowerShell, and SDKs with any Azure subscription and you can move resources from any public region to any other public region.
We will be improving the resource support coverage in the coming months.
Support for moving customer production workloads is now…

The Cloud Services, supported by Azure Front Door, are hosted on cloudapp.net domain which does not have HTTPS and does not allow to issue SSL certificate for any subdomain. The self-signed certificate is the only option there.
PS. Of course, you can buy some intermediate custom domain, buy a valid certificate for it, map this domain to your app.cloudapp.net and configure this intermediate domain as backend in Azure Front Door (with your real custom domain) - but this is a bit over-engineering...

We understand this is a top customer ask and as such it is currently on our backlog to be prioritized. We will update when the status changes.

Would be nice to get at least rough estimated time when this could be ready...

This is very good feedback. Today we have separate datasources for what your quotas are (e.g. network, memory), and the metrics that we emit. Ideally, we could bring those two points together to give you a percentage of those metrics.
Also, once these are exposed, they will automatically be available for autoscale — already today you can use any exposed metric for scaling.

We’ve moved this ask to the backlog due to technical challenges in reserving Public IP addresses during stop state.

This feature is very important for dev/test environments. Otherwise gateway "eats" biggest part of MSDN monthly credits.
