This suggestion has two parts:
1. Use default route or forced tunneling on P2S client rather than split tunneling
2. Enable Azure VPN gateway as an forward proxy to the Internet
At this point, these will be considered as long term roadmap items.

This is not something that we have on our roadmap. It is something that we may consider in the future.
Thanks for your feedback. We’ve heard this suggestion from other customers as well and are looking into providing instance-level costs.

Ok so you've heard this suggestion from other customers and it's now almost a year later and you still don't give this information? Why is it so difficult for you to give us a detailed bill that shows us what you are billing us for? This seems like a fairly reasonable request and something that you should be able to do. You do have developers that work there that can simply adjust the query you are using to produce the usage details, don't you?
You can see the Virtual Machine name in the v2 detailed usage file available under your subscriptions billing history page.

We need to understand the usage by each individual VM. On the bill it groups them all together if they are the same size and then it is impossible to see the individual usage. I was able to view the individual VM charges in the daily usage section, however this section only shows "overage" usage, not "all" usage. Since we have a monthly commitment amount, any charges covered by the commitment amount are simply not reported. This is unacceptable. If you are using my commitment amount towards daily usage, then I need to see what you are using it for without aggregating the totals. It makes me suspicious that you are not billing me correctly since you don't break it down and show me each individual resource that is getting billed.
