Just a quick update. Work on this feature continues but is taking longer than expected.
We have recently published guidance how how users who can run Windows in a VM whether on Parallels or Virtual Box with a Mac or Linux host can use the Cosmos emulator. Please feel free to use this as a workaround.
When this feature is complete we will update here.
NFS or SMB? Please vote this up for NFS.
In linux, 'something' and "Something" are completely different things. Casing matters. Not having nfs prevents us from having the ability to run certain applications on shared storage, like node applications.
At the moment our recommended method for checking the identity of the current user is to check several attributes added to incoming requests. This is to allow your application to go completely in and out of memory on lower priced tiers without “always-on.” Check out the tutorial below for the header names.
We would like to have language specific auth functionality like this in the future. I am placing this item in “unplanned” to be used in future planning sessions.
thanks for your feedback!
