Thank you for your feedback. We are currently in public preview of static website hosting for Azure Storage to enable this scenario. Check out the blog post here for more details: https://azure.microsoft.com/en-us/blog/azure-storage-static-web-hosting-public-preview. The feature set includes support for default documents and custom error documents for HTTP status code 404.
For any further questions, or to discuss your specific scenario, send us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org.Richard Gobbett commented
This is now beyond a joke. I have just spent an entire week waiting on the 4 hour publish times to test my CDN rewrite rules to get a simple angular2 SPA to work in a blob.
I have followed Hao's helpful post here: https://blog.lifeishao.com/2017/05/24/serving-your-static-sites-with-azure-blob-and-cdn but it does not work for me. All i want is https://myurl.azureedge.net/ is to resolve to https://myurl.azureedge.net/index.html.
It's sad that all the har dwork being done by the functions team is negated by a simple feature missing.Richard Gobbett supported this idea ·
