Hi, as I posted above we would like to have teachers be able to print out badges for their students and then have the students authenticate with their badges to azure ad. Basically this is to support k-3 classrooms where usernames, passwords are difficult and phones are uncommon.

    Hi,

We really need this feature. Please give us an update on the implementation timeline.

    Thanks

Thanks so much for the feedback! Customizations of the My Apps portal for both end users and admins are on our roadmap. This includes providing the ability to re-arrange and group apps and as well as using a customizable domain.

We’ve also recently add a few new features to allow you to better manage the visibility of apps on My Apps. You can now hide specific third party applications and as well as the set of Office applications. Learn more about it here: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/active-directory/active-directory-coreapps-hide-third-party-app

Please keep sharing feedback and ideas!

Hi its been almost 2 years now. Any chance this is going to get done? 3rd part vendors have far surpassed in interface and design.

Please do this. The app panel/myapps is possibly the worst user interface. The back-end functionality is great, but the actual app panel usability is terrible.

Quick update here that we’re still planning to do this. It will take us some time to complete, but we’ve heard your feedback and know how important it is.
In the meantime we would love to hear more about the type of data points you would like to see.

We'd like to see something like Azure AD connect health for the on-premise application proxy servers. There is no data off premise for this kind of stuff.

We need to be able to allow end users in o365 exchange online to update on premise distribution groups they own and also allow servicedesk to modify users through the exchange online admin console (ecp)

Alongside this, we are looking at ways to expose these capabilities through APIs that allow customers to create their own version that meets their needs.

Yes and yes the default myapps portal is difficult at best. No customization, grouping, removing apps you may not want to show up for users etc. Random apps showing up that can’t be removed.

What I have figured out is that you can take the app link from the application properties and place that link anywhere and it will behave just as if you used the myapps portal.

I have talked to Microsoft and they have recommended livetiles.nyc. This product is free for .edu.

We’re currently evaluating an option that will provide the functionality offered by nested groups, but removes the complexity nested groups adds. We appreciate your patience on this ask and want to ensure we deliver a solution that benefits all of our customers. Below are use cases that we’d like for you to stack rank, with #1 being priority for you. We thank you for the continued comments and feedback.

Use case A: nested group in a cloud security group inherits apps assignment
Use case B: nested group in a cloud security group inherits license assignment
Use case C: nesting groups under Office 365 groups
