Much needed feature.. As of now we need to write a bulky If-Condition . If we could have something like the expressions in SSIS , it will help.

There are multiple responses to this suggestion.
Support for SQL-like syntax for UPDATE, DELETE and INSERT INTO are not on our road map at this time.
However, the underlying functionality for an UPDATE, SET is essentially a PATCH. This functionality we are actively working on. See this User Voice item here to track for future updates. https://feedback.azure.com/forums/263030-azure-cosmos-db/suggestions/6693091-be-able-to-do-partial-updates-on-document
Thank you for your suggestion.

This is very vital to support movement of ADF projects across environments using Visual studio configurations as well as for ease of development. Please support.

Is it planned in near future? Many activities like delete blob and move blob can be easily done in ADF with Powershell.

[Update] Thanks for your continued feedback on this capability! Rest assured that we are tracking this request closely along with several other platform capabilities our customers have requested. In the meanwhile, you can leverage cluster scaling capability to adjust HDInsight cluster size according to your varying compute needs. Azure Data Factory is another option you can explore for scheduling jobs with automatic creation and deletion of clusters: https://azure.microsoft.com/en-us/documentation/articles/data-factory-data-transformation-activities/

Validation activity is the only activity which checks existence of file and can block further process until file is there. However not having support for wildcards is a blocker in case of recursive folder structure and same pipeline handling multi-regions. Please support this functionality
