    I use Rename to move a file to a sub folder. For "New name" I give it: folder/filename .

    This will move the file to a sub folder named Done:
    "path": "/datasets/default/files/@{encodeURIComponent(encodeURIComponent(base64ToString(triggerOutputs()['headers']['x-ms-file-path-encoded'])))}/rename",
    "queries": {
    "newName": "Done/@{base64ToString(triggerOutputs()['headers']['x-ms-file-name-encoded'])}"
    }

    This is needed especially if something is monitoring the folder and acting on the file when you Create it. Create will fail because it tries to verify the file, but it no longer exists. If Rename existed, we could write it out with a different extension and then rename it when complete.

    I just researched the "suggested" solution of using Event Grid. Currently File Storage doesn't support events! So you cannot use Event Grid

    What is EVENT GRID? I don't have time to learn another tool. I need this now and it's not available.

    I found I could use @coalesce to achieve what I needed.
    join(coalesce(last(body('Filter_Error_Messages'))?['outputs']?['errors'],json('[]')),'\n')
    I still think @if shouldn't evaluate both sides, if possible.
