    Hi, and thanks for the response.

    Yes, that would be a workaround, but not completely.
    I do not wan't an e-mail when the data has arrived, but rather if the data has not arrived as expected.
    In this case the alert query-limitations will not let my create "irregular non-event" alerts. I see the point when it comes to performance, but that should not prevent me from "having the choice" on certain queries. The default retention should of course be set to less than 24 hours.

    This should be a minor fix, and would make non-event queries possible over a certain time-period.
