We had the same problem. As a healing process MS Azure moved our VM to healthier hardware. We were not informed as part of this automated process. This seems strange as MS Azure know this process will affect the running of a customer's VM does not notify the customer. This then requires the customer to raise a service request to gain knowledge of the event.
