We are looking at options to enable this.Philip Coupar commented
I am happy to split these ideas up but I have recently had to renew a number of certificates on Azure for websites and cloud services.
There needs to be an easy way to see all certificates in a subscription and potentially an alert capability for expiring certificates.
A simple tool to create and apply domain verified certificates and renewals (or automated renewal similar to what has been proposed by Let's Encrypt.
A deeper integration with a provider like godaddy to provide paid for enhanced verification certificates but with the same simple creation and renewal capability.
Azure based tools for pfx creation and/or a secure store for private keys that can help automate the certificate process.

Azure has this capability already with EA & CSP. We would like to offer this for Web direct customers as well.

Hey folks, sorry for the late update. Some backend changes were made to alleviate this issue but I believe it doesn’t solve it for everyone yet. Let me go get some details and come back with a better update. Thanks!
Azure Cosmos DB now provides the ability to access the change feed (https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/cosmos-db/change-feed). A common pattern to implement eventing patterns is
1. Store every version/change as a separate item
2. Read the change feed to merge/consolidate changes and trigger appropriate actions downstream.
You can also expire old versions using TTL: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/cosmos-db/time-to-livePhilip Coupar shared this idea ·

There are many scenarios where this would be useful:
VSO CI build to cloud service staging triggers automation job that executes test suite and migrates to production slot on success and teardown staging,
MessageBus triggers similar to WebJobs allowing many publishers to initiate workflows
Audit scripts (or auto configuration) of new resources such as databases or storage accounts/containers.
jobs that trigger on scaling of website or cloud service that execute tasks to optimise resources (change instance sizes, spin up in new datacentres etc..)
I am sure there are many others people could come up with.
Thank you for your feedback. Providing container capacity metrics is on our backlog but there is no ETA we can share at this time. We will provide updates when they become available. For any further questions, or to discuss your specific scenario, send us an email at email@example.com.

We have made some great progress on this idea and most of our services today do support move resources across groups.
We are still working towards 100% support and while we do that it would be great if you can help us prioritize the missing services.
Please file individual asks on each service category present in uservoice and vote for it.

Thanks, we hear you.
Right now I can’t give you a date but we continue to listen.
This is not currently planned at this time. Will keep this item open for voting and comments.
We are more focused around data synchronization than schema synchronization at the moment. We may revisit the priority of this in the future.
