Yep, AWS announced their solution years ago: https://docs.aws.amazon.com/transfer/latest/userguide/how-aws-transfer-works.html

I guess we're going to have to use S3 for transferring files between customers and partners.

Is this the same as "streaming support" as mentioned by Mark Kromer here: https://twitter.com/KromerBigData/status/1205577192098238464?s=20 ?

If so, then I would definitely like this.

I want to be able to submit rows/JSON docs as and when they are insertedupdated in the source.

We are very excited to announce the public preview of Azure Data Factory Managed Virtual Network.

With this new feature, you can provision the Azure Integration Runtime in Managed Virtual Network and leverage Private Endpoints to securely connect to supported data stores. Your data traffic between Azure Data Factory Managed Virtual Network and data stores goes through Azure Private Link which provides secured connectivity and eliminate your data exposure to the public internet. With the Managed Virtual Network along with Private Endpoints, you can also offload the burden of managing virtual network to Azure Data Factory and protect against the data exfiltration.

To learn more about Azure Data Factory Managed Virtual Network, see https://azure.microsoft.com/blog/azure-data-factory-managed-virtual-network/

Yes please. I would like users (both inside and outside of my company) to be able to upload and download content.

Liquid templates are only a partial solution. They currently have the following issues:

    1. Poor tooling for their creation
    2. The need to explicitly define the shape of the output data making them brittle to schema changes (additional properties would not get exported)
    3. Ruby script is unfamiliar to most
    3. No way of calling out to more sophisticated logic

I believe the solution should be to make the polling time configurable rather than hard coded to 30s. Ideally this could also be done for the trigger so that it can be increased to 1 minute (halving the polling cost).

I agree, I have a Logic App that has an Action that reads from the queue to check if there is something on it, and then does some work if there isn't.

Unfortunately the Service Bus read Action always takes 30s making the caller wait an unreasonable amount of time for a response.

    Raised on SO https://stackoverflow.com/questions/52401998/logic-app-always-takes-30s-to-read-empty-service-bus-queue

I totally agree with this (and may have to release some of my other votes to vote for it!)

Having to create a function isn't ideal:
    1) The text box used to create it is too small
    2) Once created you have to view and edit it in Functions, not within the LA designer
    3) The performance would be better if it wasn't necessary to do an HTTP call and start up a Function, i.e. the script should be run locally to the LA

I'm surprised there aren't more votes for this - perhaps the title should contain the word script?

I agree that this requested feature has not been completed:

Frustrating this feature isn't available now, seems a very likely thing to want to do when implementing batch integration jobs.

This was Under Review in Nov 2016, can we have an update?

    Thanks

I would like this too. There are Select and Filter Actions, and @first, @last, @take and @skip functions, but it would be great to have a single easily readable multiline LINQ expression to combine all these in a single Action

Would really like Managed Instances to be able to do this as well.

It would also be useful for On Prem SQL as well, invoking through On Prem Data Gateway or Express Route.
