The graph API should allow any ApplicationIDs to e specified in the INCLUDE and EXCLUDE. Please don't get smart and try to exclude certain apps as you have done in the ARM portal.

Thank you for your feedback. We are currently in public preview of blob storage lifecycle management. The feature set offers a rich, rule-based policy engine which you can use to transition your data to the best access tier and to expire data at the end of its lifecycle. This framework can be used to match and tier blobs based on prefix to enable batch archiving of an account, containers, or even virtual directories. Having talked to a number of customers, we concluded that this solution addresses many scenarios where the need for account and container level archiving exists. See our post on the Azure Blog to get started: https://azure.microsoft.com/en-us/blog/azure-blob-storage-lifecycle-management-public-preview/preview/.

For any further questions, or to discuss your specific scenario, send us an email at DLMFeedback@microsoft.com.

The Azure Storage team really messed this one up. I asked for: (a) allowing the "archive" tier to be a global default, just like "cool" is; and (b) allowing inheritance of the tier by setting it at the container level. The storage team insisted that the "apps" would be able to handle it... yeah maybe one day. We abandoned using the archive tier as a result.

Thanks for your feedback. I have added the first ask to the backlog. I will update this post for further updates on the ETA.
Currently we have auto start option for Lab VMs and we would be extending this functionality for compute VMs at some point. You can also provide an email address or webhook for receiving a shutdown notification that allows you to delay or skip the shutdown in case the your Lab VM is in use.

VNET peering creates a flat virtual LAN network, so there really isn't any peering gateway which you can point to.

There are TWO issues: (1) The Rate Card does NOT return the true discounted pricing under the Enterprise Agreement; and (2) the "Price Sheet" in the EA Portal (which does have correct pricing) shows items based on "Part Numbers" making in extremely difficult to map it to entries in the rate card. A "MeterID" to "Part Number" mapping is desperately required (or better yet, the Rate Card should include the "Part Number" with each MeterID.

Thanks for the post , votes, and comments. We are aware of this limitation and are targeting sometime next year to improve this experience. In the meantime you can sign up for a new account in your desired country and transfer your assets to the new account via Support.

What a COLOSSAL PAIN this is. We are a global company and have a EA subscription agreement in USD. But I am an EA Admin located in the UK -- and my Microsoft Live ID (using my company email) is UK based. And Azure just ASSUMES the country associated with the Live ID (despite having a US-based EA agreement in the EA portal). And there is NO WAY TO CHANGE IT. The Result? We have to MIGRATE our netire configurations to new Subscription, created with a US-based Live ID. Ugh!!!
