resource provider for WAP should be released. WAP has been deployed by many customers. and Businesses deploying it today and will tomorrow. Because Stack hasn't even been released yet.
And even when it's released the expensive new HW that's been bought recently most likely won't be supported because Stack will be just like CPS - coming turn key pre-built from vendors: https://azure.microsoft.com/en-us/blog/microsoft-azure-stack-delivering-cloud-infrastructure-as-integrated-systems/
This is so hurtful to business to deliver WAP, promise a ton of stuff, and then annouce end of life for it because ohh well Stack is new toy they promise it will be great. right. It's so "great" judging by TPs that makes me thing I should future proof my career by going AWS or Vmware.

We are reviewing a feature for disaster recovery for VMs. If you have particular ideas about the feature, please share with us here. Note that disaster recovery and backup/recovery are different features.

A year ago at igniteat https://channel9.msdn.com/Events/Ignite/2015/BRK3491 (forward to 45th minute) a BaaS demo was shown for WAP. they said resource provider coming up for WAP that will leverage DPM to allow BaaS. Where is this all ? It's been a year now and nothing came out ; (

Running into this problem a lot with customers; they create multiple subnets for virtual network WAP doesn't let to choose which subnet a VM network adapter gets.
This results in a lot of support calls and sour feelings for everyone involved.
