We definitely recognize the popularity of this feature, and we discuss it constantly during the planning phases. However there are certain technical limitations in the system that add a large amount of development cost. Because of the cost and the fact that there is a workaround available, other features get prioritized over this one.
That being said, please keep voting for it. The popularity of the feature does help bring it up and makes us reconsider every time.
Apologies for the delay.

Old message:
We’re doing some research both on the specifics of this ask as well as what it would take to support this.
Is the ask here to do the same thing that regular Azure AD does (see: https://blogs.technet.microsoft.com/enterprisemobility/2014/12/18/azure-active-directory-now-with-group-claims-and-application-roles/) or is are there different requirements around this for Azure AD B2C?An error occurred while saving the comment alvipeo supported this idea ·

Azure Automation has a service tag support for hybrid jobs : https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/automation/automation-hybrid-runbook-worker#service-tags . We are planning to bring in service tag support for cloud jobs too.

Guys, WE NEED IT! We recently created en environment and our devs use SMTP.GMAIL.COM:587, there are push notification services for Apple and Android. Those are on completely different ports!
And we will have PCI compliance certification!

Our long-term goal is to have every service within Azure publish events, however, we have yet to begin work on this one.
As always, we’re passing the feedback along, but make sure you reach out to Storage as well so they hear your voice directly!

Thank you for your feedback. We are currently in public preview of blob storage lifecycle management. The feature set offers a rich, rule-based policy engine which you can use to transition your data to the best access tier and to expire data at the end of its lifecycle. This framework can be used to match and tier blobs based on prefix to enable batch archiving of an account, containers, or even virtual directories. Having talked to a number of customers, we concluded that this solution addresses many scenarios where the need for account and container level archiving exists. See our post on the Azure Blog to get started: https://azure.microsoft.com/en-us/blog/azure-blob-storage-lifecycle-management-public-preview/preview/.
For any further questions, or to discuss your specific scenario, send us an email at DLMFeedback@microsoft.com.

Thank you for your patience. This is still under review. We are working on other features that are moving us closer to being able to provide these capabilities, but cannot yet dedicate resources to this feature.
Thanks,

That shouldn't be even under review! That's essential - the client gets inside a perimeter via VPN (to RDP to their VMs) and no one knows who, when, from where logged in???
