We are looking to see how we can provide this functionality along with some form of console access so that you could interactively answer any questions that show up.
NFS or SMB? Please vote this up for NFS.
Given the sparse nature of Windows Azure Storage and with recent announcement for trim support on guest OS’s that support trim, the need for resizing should be reduced, as you should just assume you start with the largest size possible and only pay for what you use.
We are taking a look at this feature to see how we can enable this in an easy and fast way.

Status update: Geo-replication is in our backlog but we don’t expect to have enough resources to complete it before H2 2018.

Support for up to five read-only replicas within the same region is now in public preview. This feature is aimed to scale out read-heavy workloads.
