    Yes- we need this too! I agree that it is ridiculous that we can't change a the display name.
    I only wish that I could move all resources to a new group, but with app services, and SendGrid, moving ain't so simple!

    I understand that the API paths are built on resource group names, so they are imbedded in the infrastructure more deeply than just a visual display, but if we could provide a friendly display name for each resource, it would certainly make my life much easier!

    Hey folks, sorry for the late update. Some backend changes were made to alleviate this issue but I believe it doesn’t solve it for everyone yet. Let me go get some details and come back with a better update. Thanks!

    I absolutely agree. I understand the test vs prod requirement, but it seems that MS has chose to enforce this by restricting the MPN subscription to MS accounts. This seems ridiculous. I would love to be able to manage our development team's accounts and access as part of our organizational AD.
