It is becoming clear that gRPC is indeed a wave of the future that is happening now. Please catch the wave and ride it so you (and us, your customers) do not get left behind on the sand! One big reason gRPC is attractive is that it is way, way, way less coding work (including all the REST ceremony with controllers and attributes, etc,.) to implement services with gRPC APIs than with REST. And when people see a good way to do things (and rpc is good as it has been for decades) and it is way less work, then people are attracted to it. So, please get at least even with the game and quickly support gRPC with APIM. If you don't do it soon, you end up wishing you had. PS I've been developing software for decades and I have lots of practice seeing a winner. The rest of the industry is shifting to gRPC, please do not leave us having to switch vendors!
