I would like to see this too. Disappointed that so many things you can already do in Application Gateway are not available in Front Door. I'm still looking for a way to be able to add some kind of header to specify which backend the request is coming from (without resorting to code changes). The x-azure-ref variable is cute but no idea how to correlate it to which backend the response came from.

Planned for the last 6 months. We went with Front Door because it offered better services than just using the Application Gateway. Why can't we get this feature when it's already in place with the gateway?
Hi all – we could really use more information on the use cases you would like us to deliver with this feature. To quote Darrel’s post below:
Are you looking for some kind of UI in the portal to enable developers to subscribe to webhooks exposed by APIs?
Or are you looking for the additional security provided API Management to limit what events a user can subscribe to?
Do you want to correlate the API Management subscription ID with registered webhooks?
Any information you can give about the scenarios you would like help with would be great.
