I offer as evidence for the desire for this to happen, the 1k+ views of my stackoverflow question from 2011. A little under a person a day.
Adding to the link that Justin posted to his Stack Overflow question:
We understand the scenario and if it gets more votes we will consider it for the next releases. It is assigned to our collation & string processing team.
Thanks for the feedback! We are working on enabling this feature.
Hi all, unfortunately we don’t have plans to share out a public roadmap. This is constantly changing as we’re listening to customer requests. We will continue to update feedback.azure items as they come up so feel free to suggest anything you are curious about.

It would be great to have something like the API Mgt group provides at https://trello.com/b/FAA147vS/azure-api-management-product-roadmap
Cosmos DB is intended to be a schemaless database so we don’t support schemas in general. Support for this is not on our roadmap but will mark as unplanned and leave open for future consideration.
Thanks for your suggestion.Hugo Voerman shared this idea ·
This is not planned for the next 6 months. If this is needed for your scenario, please continue voting and we will re-evaluate at a later.
We are in the process of planning this feature and hope to have a preview available by the end of november. In the meantime, could you please respond to email@example.com with your responses to the following questions:
- If you had a “password change” policy, what kind of information would you like to get back once the policy has been executed?
- Would you prefer to have a policy that forces you to sign in first, and then asks you to change the password, or one that let’s you do it all on the same page?
- Would you want an email to get sent out to the user whenever the password is changed?
Due to various technical limitations, the first iteration of the customer-owned domains functionality will not be available for a few more months. We will provide an update as soon as we can get a more specific ETA.
I’ve gotten a few questions about this item recently, so I just wanted to give a more detailed status. We still have this on the backlog; it hasn’t been forgotten. But we don’t have a clear timeline for when we would get to it right now. The “unplanned” status just means that it can’t be tied to a timeline, but we do think this is a valid request that we would like to have in the product.

We are exploring the possibility of supporting CosmosDB change feed as ingress to Stream Analytics which will solve this scenario. For reference data, we already provide a mechanism to refresh reference data in Azure Blob storage using Azure Data Factory. More details about this here: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/stream-analytics/stream-analytics-use-reference-data
We are listening and committed to making Stream Analytics even better! Keep your feedback coming.

You can autoscale ASA jobs based on pre-defined schedule or dynamically based on input load. This can be setup using Azure Automation. You can learn more about how to do this here: https://aka.ms/asaautoscale
